Database Content
Selecting a database in the primary sidebar shows a list of its tables with their row counts, data size, encoding, and creation and modification dates.

Row counts for InnoDB and PostgreSQL tables aren't loaded automatically, because counting large tables is slow. To count one table, click the refresh button in its Rows column. To count every table, click Recount All at the bottom of the list.
Columns #
Which columns appear depends on the kind of server. Right-click the column headers to show or hide the optional ones.
| Column | Servers | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Table Name | All | The table or view's name. The icon shows which it is. |
| Rows | All | The exact number of rows. Shows -- until counted; click the row's refresh button , or Recount All, to count. MyISAM and SQLite tables are counted automatically. |
| Autoincrement | MySQL | The value the next inserted row will get for its AUTO_INCREMENT column. |
| In Use | MySQL | The number of table locks or lock requests currently held on the table, from SHOW OPEN TABLES. |
| Total Size | MySQL | Data Size plus Index Size. |
| Data Size | MySQL, PostgreSQL | Space used by the table's rows. On PostgreSQL, this includes TOAST storage for large values. |
| Data Free | MySQL, PostgreSQL | On MySQL, space allocated to the table but not in use. On PostgreSQL, the size of the table's free space map. |
| Max Data Size | MySQL | The largest the data can grow. Mostly meaningful for MyISAM tables; zero for InnoDB. |
| Avg Row Size | MySQL | The average size of a row. |
| Index Size | MySQL, PostgreSQL | Space used by the table's indexes. |
| Engine | MySQL | The storage engine, such as InnoDB or MyISAM. |
| Version | MySQL | The version number of the table's definition format. |
| Collation | MySQL | The table's default collation. |
| Created | MySQL | When the table was created. |
| Updated | MySQL | When the table's data was last changed. Not tracked by every engine. |
| Checked | MySQL | When the table was last checked with CHECK TABLE. Not tracked by every engine. |
| Comment | MySQL | The table's comment. |
MySQL values come from SHOW TABLE STATUS. Note that many values for InnoDB tables are estimates, not exact values.
